PBS News Student Reporting Labs is looking for two new student hosts for the fifth season of On Our Minds, an award-winning teen life podcast.
**New this season!** Students can apply with a friend! We are looking for two friends who work well together, laugh easily, enjoy sharing stories, and can speak well with other teens. Learn more and apply by December 6.
Season 5 will explore the theme: “Who Inspires You?” Student reporters will create audio stories and interviews that highlight people they look up to, including friends, families, teams, schools, communities, or people in the public sphere.
Find more opportunities for students to get involved in the next season of On Our Minds on SRL’s resource platform StoryMaker, including:
- Produce an audio story or interview. Deadline to pitch an idea: Jan 10
- Submit original music to our theme song contest. Deadline to submit: Feb 14
- Submit a “Dear On Our Minds” voicemail message (rolling submissions)
