MediaWise at the Poynter Institute has just opened applications for the next round of the Teen Fact-Checking Network, to begin next fall.
This is a paid opportunity for students to participate in a global media literacy initiative and publish their own original reporting. We are accepting applications from anyone, and we are particularly hoping to add more Spanish speaking participants. We are also looking to expand our coverage of the health and fitness, sports and gaming worlds.
If you know of a student aged 13-17 who might be interested in joining our team as researchers/script writers, on-camera talent or video producers, please pass this application along to them.
