The New York Times is inviting students ages 13-19 to submit podcasts of five minutes or less for its ninth annual Student Podcast Contest, with winners to be featured on the Times’ Learning Network website page.
Students may work together but should submit only one entry. Submissions must be created especially for the contest, must contain a beginning, a middle and an ending, and must not use any copyrighted sound effects or music unless they qualify under legal fair use exceptions.
The contest deadline is May 13 at 11:50 p.m. Pacific time, and winners will be announced in August. Click here for more information and access to the submission form.
